I am looking at getting a 1993 Browning Hi-Power in 9mm. It's supposed to be in good condition (though I haven't seen it in person yet). Comes with box and two 13-round magazines.

The asking price is $600. It seems like this is a good price, but I'm not sure. What is the typical price for this gun? The more replies, the better, since I may be trying to meet up with him later today about it.

If it's in really good condition, that's probably the best you're going to do. If it looks like a shooter, I wouldn't give over $500 for it - but that's me.

Good luck.

Around here, that Hi Power would be gone in minutes. Saw two of them on consignment at my LGS........for $900 apiece (yikes!).

Price on what you getting is good.

I wanted a shooter and Coles out of Scottsville, KY has been listing a lot High Powers on Gun Broker for the last couple of years. His are the FN Brownings - Israeli military. I picked up a MKII that was an arsenal refurb and looked like a new gun for $459.

Coles is a highly reputable seller.
