Well, I have found that the handle of a choke tube wrench fits just right :) You can even put the mag tube through the "choke hole" for leverage. The "right" way would be a very large flathead screwdriver...
 
Thanks! That was what I needed. A choke wrench seems like a better fit than a screw driver ... and it would have to be pretty big to span the nut.

Does the mag tube rotate in the stock when you try to "unscrew" the stock nut? I could see the stock nut staying frozen on the tube while the mag tube is backed out. I figured I could stick a piece of plastic in the feed slot to keep it from rotating.
