So, I decided it was a keeper... :) Now I just need to go get decent glass for it... Any suggestions??

Thanks

Those are sweet quality rifles.
Any number of decent scopes will compliment that rifle. A Nikon Prostaff rimfire is a good scope for the money, but you can always spend more if it's what you want.

is it a 22? the wood is beautiful on that rifle. very nice looking rifle

Nice, don't you hate it when a gun holds on to your leg and won't let go? I've got one of the original T-bolts and my local dealer has a new model that's "tugging" at my leg too. Post a report when you get back from the range.

Well, fixin' to go to the range... will have pics up this evening...

GuitarGaod: Go to youtube and search for the Browning T-Bolt... and check out the video... that will get you to want one... LOL

Well, here y'all go... as promised... range report...

This rifle is what I would call the best rifle I've ever owned (as 22's go) The trigger is incredible!! You almost don't notice any movement, a clean crisp break, and the factory has it set very much to my liking. Although, it is adjustable without dismantling any of the rifle via a screw just forward of the trigger guard. (I didn't mess with it) The trigger does take a bit of getting used to from a feel perspective as it is quite a bit wider than I am accustomed to. No big deal though... I only got to try three different ammo types, Federal 510 leads solid, Federal Bulk coppered HP's, and Remmy Golden HP's. It seem to REALLY like the Federal Coppered HP's the best...

Range was 35 yards...

Federal bulk 550 coppered HP's (look closely, I fired 6 shots - I lost count)

With more time at the range, I think I can do a little better... the rifle is definitely more accurate than I was on this day... but I can not complain as I feel I got a great rifle, at a great price... For the record, I found this one brand new for $429 out the door...
