***, you want to discuss these or post in the wanted section:confused:
Your time would be more profitably spent by checking GunBroker.com or Gunsamerica ect. Of course you know the old axiom about $$$ talk and who walks!:neener:

There still available and easy to acquire.
I believe many gunstores with the exception of Browning Authorized Dealers do not keep them in stock because they are fairly expensive and not fast movers but there will be no problem for your favorite dealer to order one for you.

Ditto to both of the above. Onmilo nailed it. Many shops and almost all of the Bog Box outfits around here don't routinely carry the little Browning because of the relatively high retail price. While they will draw a lot of "lookers" because of their petite size, elegant lines and beautiful finish, not many of your average weekend plinkers will plunk down close to $400 for one when they can buy one of the Ruger, Marlin, or other high quality .22 selfloaders in the rack for half the price or less.

Most of them are willing to order one for you, but be prepared to be asked to prepay or leave a substantial deposit (sometimes with all or part of it nonrefundable) before they will do so. Nothing personal. They're shelling out real cash for it, and shouldn't be expected to be willing to swallow the expense for something they wouldn't normally stock if you "change your mind".

Coltguy spammed all the 'tools' forums with trolling for bargains with one liners. However, I gave him a 'greeting'!
