Browning X-Bolt Hunter or Composite Stalker?

OK, I'm looking at a new rifle and have decided it is time for that Browning... I really like the X-Bolt but can't decide, Hunter or Composite Stalker...

Have the Hunter and its a good gun---but---if the Composite were available at the time I got my gun--I would have taken that home.


Hunting is hard on wood stocks.

Refresh my memory - what does the X-bolt has that the A-bolt does not? Other than more cheap plastic parts (trigger guard, magazine, etc.). But I personally would get the Hunter if I was gonna get an X-bolt.

The X-bolt has a better magazine--is trimmer---and has a way better trigger.
