I purchased a browning x-bolt long range hunter. I noticed that the trigger has some noticeable side-to-side play, not back and forth but left and right play. It’s not solid and stationary even when cocked like my A-bolt medallion. On these new Browning feather triggers, is this play/wobble normal? It seems cheap, but as you know the rifle is not cheap. Any insight, advice or experience would be helpful.

Not normal. I've had an X-Bolt Hunter for 8/10 years and it's been superb and is my go to hunting rifle with a very good trigger. Call Browning, somethings wrong

My SLRs trigger wobbles a little bit, and you can move it forward against its very light tension spring. Because of the 3 lever design and the trigger basically floats until its pulled up against the....second lever?...what ever its called
The A-bolts trigger is always under tension from the sear pressing down on it (when cocked), so its not as noticeable.

Yes I called Browning and they almost immediately sent me a ups shipping tag and now they have it. I hope they resolve it to my satisfaction.. fingers crossed
