I bought a 1990 BT-99 + at Kittery last week.I really like the Shotgun. I've been shooting Trap with an 870 Competition w/ a Jack West Stock. I wanted a shotgun with a higher rib and the adjustible comb and recoil reducer built-in.

I put 4 rounds of Trap thru it and the ejector broke. I ordered two from Brownells. Any trick to changing the Ejector? I know you have to loosen a screw on the other side of the block. Any small springs to shoot out?

Other tips on the BT-99+? All tips are appreciated.

Thanks,

John

i think the BT99 extractor is just like a older style type found on single barrel hammer shotguns. that only has one spring to lift the case up to be pulled out. most old single barrel guns had a drift pin you tapped out while having your finger on the extractor to hold it in place and then easing the pressure to let the extractor come out. eastbank.
