My BT will eject shells when it is not fired. What caues this and how would I fix it. Thanks for any help.

Hard to diagnose from where I am setting.
But only the early BT-99 had an ejector function, and all newer ones only have the extractor function.
So, we will assume yours is an old model.

Here is a parts schematic.

I would start by inspecting parts 6 through 16 for breakage, wear, gummed up dirt & oil, or lack of lubrication at all.

Pay particular attention to #7 Ejector extension, #8 Ejector hammer, #11 Sear, and #16 Trip Rod.

birdshot8, it is doing it most of the time but not all the time. I do not think I am bumping it. Thank you for your repley.

rcmodel, it is an older model BT. I am going totake out the ejector hammer & sear and look at them. Thank you for your repley.
