BT99 question

Today, when I took my BT99 apart to get it back in its case, I noticed that the pin that fits into the bottom of the forend moves around a little bit. Is this normal? I don't see how it would hurt anything, and I probably just never noticed it before.

The pin is in question is the long, straight one sticking out the end...sorry to whoever took this photo for lifting your picture, but it's better than what I can do!

The rather long ejector trip rod, and it is a bit loose to work properly. Check BT99 chematics at MidwayUSA or Midsouth or Browning. Great guns! That is where my 200 st patch adn club belt buckle came from!
