Bucket list Revolvers

My list of wants would be:
4" Python
4" Manhurian
4" Dan Wesson (with various other barrels)
4" Korth
3.5" M27
3" M60

My needs are either:
5" 629
Or:
5" 44 GP100

One I tried to get when they were basically worth scrap price, nagant revolver. Just a stinkin cool gun. Horrendous trigger, and any hint of accuracy shredded by the trigger pull. But a cool gun that I will likely never own because they are now overpriced collectors toys.

I’m more a fan of obscure and odd. I also like age. I really want a savage navy.

Like this?

My bucket list includes a Schofield Model 3, chambered in .357 Mag.

That's never going to happen. The design will not survive the abuse of a modern magnum cartridge.

This one chambered for the original cartridge, 45 Schofield.

I still need a .45 colt single action. It would be a bonus to have a convertible. 45 acp cylinder to go with it. Blackhawk would be just fine

I bought this one way back in 1975 when I was in my twenties. It cost $150, which was a lot of money for a kid back then.

- S&W model 27

- an early S&W 1905 .38

This one shipped in 1908.

- S&W 1917

This one came with an almost full box of cartridges for no extra charge.

6" 617 S&W .22

Model 617-6. Picked it up a few years ago when I was doing plate shoots and had to put eight rounds on the target in 15 seconds. Couldn't do that with a six shooter.

And one oddball, i am interested in a turn of the century, short barrel, break-top double action in .38 or even .32. Why? I dont know....nostalgia.?

A nice S&W 38 Double Action, Fourth Model, that shipped in 1898.

38/44 Outdoorsman 4"

Sorry, I only have a six inch one.

What I'm looking for these days is a nice Registered Magnum. Came across one last month, but some idiot had an amateur engrave it, ruining it.

I would like to have a nice 3.5 inch S&W model 27. Every time I get about half the money saved up that I think I will need I run into a good deal on something else that I can get with what I have saved. Back in May it was a sweet nickel plated snub nosed model 10 for $425 and then last month it was an M15 for $385 so now my gun fund has about $150 in it

I don't really have a "bucket-list" revolver simply because everything I decide I want is fairly easily attainable.

I've been wanting a Ruger Vaquero in .357 Magnum..

I had been thinking of a Charter Arms Bulldog in .44 Special, .. until CZF posted here in this thread (post 14.) Never knew about Ruger's GP44..!

I’m more a fan of obscure and odd. I also like age. I really want a savage navy. I also want a k32 and a Rossi Cyclops.

OK, I'm down with the K32, because 32 Long is my favorite revolver cartridge. But why the Rossi Cyclops? I looked it up on Google, but other than what it looks like, I still know zip about it. What is it you like about it?

I think I pretty much have them all. A K32 would be nice, but I can live without one. My recently-acquired 625-2 is so much fun that I'm having trouble making time at the range to shoot most of my other revolvers, other than "warming up" with my K22.

It was essentially a factory built ppc revolver. The one I have shot was absurdly nice. You would think it was a $2000 custom s&w until you looked at the name on the side.

Driftwood,
Whats on your lust list.?

Howdy Again

I like that: Lust List instead of Bucket List.

As I said earlier, a Registered Magnum

A S&W #3 American Model, or even better, a 1st Model Russian. The one that looks just like the American model but is chambered for the much easier to load 44 Russian cartridge.

An original Remington Model 1875

An original Remington Model 1890

A nice little pin fire revolver.

That's all I can think of right now.

P.S. I forgot. A S&W Model 16 or K-32, just like everybody else.

Bucket list? That would be a rough looking old S&W Model 14 from the evidence locker our armorer must have "massaged" as it cut clover leafs at 25 yards.

I (need) want a smith Wesson K.32 masterpiece to go with the one I have, just to say I have two.

I'd really like to own a Galand revolver in decent shape purely for my intrigue with the mechanism.

5" 629 with an unfluted cylinder and 3/4 lug.

K6S
SP101 in 327
K32
S&W 520
S&W 57
M 17-3
FA .41, .44, or 454
Colt SAA case color hardened with an octagonal barrel

S&W Model 36 3" barrel
Ruger SP101 3" barrel in .38 special

A S&W model 57 or 58 in .41 mag would be nice but just a luxury, not something I would shoot and carry often because of it's value. Actually S&W has many really sweet models that could be bucket list but are priced out of my budget, sanity wise.

The day before my wife's birthday, we were looking for a piece of furniture. We stumbled onto a small indoor range set off the road. The sign was obscured by a Bush. It's a place we have passed several times. We checked it out, nice place, good people and a small stock of pistols for sale, mostly consignments. One stood out, a 6 inch blue Colt Python. Some holster wear, a poorly fitting set of Houge
Grips and the original wood grips as well. They had to call the owner to get a price, $2000. That's 40 to 50 per cent below any Python I've seen locally.

It WAS a bucket list item but now it shoots on our range and sleeps in the safe.

What bucket list guns are you looking for or have found?

If I had to pick just one:

Smith & Wesson Model 544 Texas Commemorative, .44-40, 5" barrel.
