"Buckshot Slugs"

I was reading a description regarding the Winchester Defender 1300 which included the following:

"The Model 1300 Defender, which is billed to effectively handle 'security situations' can fire both rifled and buckshot slugs from a pump-action 7-shot tubular magazine system."

What exactly are 'buckshot slugs'? I've never heard the term...

Probably a typo and they meant "can fire both rifled slugs and buckshot from a pump..."

Just a guess.
