Good idea....I've got a pile of those. I
was thinking a high speed mini saw with an abrasive blade, but I'm not sure that would be clean enough..... Hrrmmm
dad has a old mini cutoff saw, kinda like those HF ones, but this thing is 60 pounds or so. i wounder if those blade he has could be made to work. the rpm is not super high. suck living over a hour away, i can't do much here.

With an abrasive blade it won't matter too much on rpm, you just gotta cut slower and rest the parts more offten. Not sure even a fully carbide toothed blade would cut those rings unless running at stupid fast.... And even then.

I helped a buddy cut some hardened plates with the big horizontal bandsaw we had at work a while back. running flat out the cuts had to be really slow and heavily lubricated. We still burned up a couple bands.
