I have a question here for budsgunshop customers, I know they are a member here, if they would answer it would be even better.

I want to order some used mags that are on the website. They claim to be in stock. I was going to call and ask someone to make sure. I have been burned by the "in stock" thing by other companies. After waiting weeks and weeks had to do a chargeback on my card.

Anyone have any experience with buds? Is it safe to take the websites word and order my mags?
 
Well, I've never ordered from their pre-owned inventory, but I have ordered from new stock. Their sales numbers and their reputation show they're not a fly-by-nite company. One of their sales associates hangs around here now-and-then, when he can come up for air. With as many people as have bought guns the past 7 months, had Buds been hosing people you would have heard of it.

I ordered some used S&W .40 cal mags this morning and have already received confirmation of the order and the notice that it is ready to ship :).

BTW, these were six 11 rnd S&W 4006/4043/4046 mags for $29.95. I live about an hour north of them and really need to drive down there.

Update. They shipped and are arrivint today, 7/2

I'm lucky enough to use their website to check price and inventory and then go to their shop in Paris KY to buy it. Prices in the store are at least $30 cheaper... no included shipping added at the store. They are honest and do their best IMHO, some mistakes are bound to happen when many of the website's items are being purchased locally.

Yeah, I have seen them around here quite a bit. Thats where I learned of budsbuysguns.com. They really offer some decent prices for used guns, much better than the local shops around here. Around here a used glock gets you 300 and sells for 500.

All of the items on our website with the "Buy Now" option are actually in stock and available to ship. Non firearm items (like your mags) usually ship within 24 hours, firearms take a bit longer due to the paperwork required.

Glad you like it !! We just launched that new site one month ago today and we have already purchased over 250 guns from customers. That is honestly a lot more than I expected. Some of the 250 were actually trades for new guns....but that works for us to !

We have been really surprised to hear what people were offered for these same guns locally....just ridiculous really, some offers are less than half of what we are paying. Let's be honest, we are making money on what we are paying.....to offer less is just taking advantage of people.

Thanks for answering my thread, your customer service is great. I ordered the mags on tuesday and got my confirmation from UPS that they would be here on thursday.
 
I've stopped in their store (I was the guy asking about the SIG mosquito last week), and it's really second-to-none. I've also ordered online, and they've always been prompt and accurate.

THought I would come back and add some feedback. I recieved my mags ordered at 3:30pm or so on tuesday today. They came in at 10 am. My used mags look more new to me. They are both ambi cut glock mags, so they arent that old. They looked as though they were never used.

I have bought several guns - new, used, handguns and shotgun form Bud's in the past 6 months - NO issues at all! Cheaper than my old favorite gunshop. I have a pawn shop in town that does $10 transfers, so makes it real hard not to buy from Bud's :)
 
Bud's is awesome. Decent prices, good inventory, and helpful employees. I've spent thousands on their website and have been happy with every purchase. Email them or call them and they should be able to answer any questions you have.
