I do assume a large number of people have these.

What would/do you put in yours?
I am not assuming a SHTF scenario... but something along the lines of a riot or Katarina type of situation.

I have a Rossi .410/.22, a change of clothes, a basic survival kit (lighters, water purification, etc), flares, some ammo, and the like in a bag in my truck, just in case.

I did try the search finally ;)

Problem is I am in Europe... dont have ready access to a lot of the featured stuff...

Ah well back to the drawing board and finding alternatives.

But thank you all.

This site has a lot of good information, but many of the members are too gung-ho about about a EOTWAWKI scenario happening. I mean, these people are hoping it happens so that they can set up their own little kingdoms and trade their top ramen stores for sex. Outsiders have a real tough time on that board, they either attack or ignore depending on the mood of the sharks. Just my $.02.

Afy,
You want 3 days basic needs ready to go. Protein bars, water, first aid kit, flashlight (batteries), matches, some clothing, a useful tool or two, maybe some rope, communication device (batteries) etc.
Vital documents... depending on reason for leaving and proposed duration, might include I.D., birth cert., home insurance policy, etc.

Mostly stuff to keep you going til you get to where you're getting. Should your home be in the way of extreme unpleasantness which might destroy it and it's contents, you get to choose what else gets to go along for the ride making sure that they're items you'll need to help you carry on post-disaster.
