I'll preface this by saying I already have two AR's. One is a Varminter .223, the other is a .358 WSSM. Both shoot sub 1/2" groups. Both have match grade barrels, one a Wilson air gauged and the .358 a Shilen Ultra Match.

I'm at the point that I feel the need for a HD length in .223. Thing is, I go on prairie dog hunts and want another AR capable of first round hits at 300 yards. I have a Trijcon RX-30 for close up work, and a 6.5-20x40 for doggin'.

So anyway, I'm looking for a match grade barrel for a "build your own". Kreiger or Shilen are preferred, but Pacnor, Shaw, Bartlein would do as well. Looking for 16" and mid or light weight. No bull barrel.

Also, if I could find a stripped or complete receiver or other parts it would help. Looking for ideas. I already have a stripped lower.

I've got a Rock River NM barrel with the RR NM sights. DPMS A2 upper that I assembled myself came from CDNN. Rock River lower that I bought stripped and assembled with their NM trigger. It's a sub MOA angle gun even with me behind the trigger and the open sights. It's pretty impressive. I've shot 5 shot, 3/4" groups with the open sights at just under 100 yards on my range.

Not sure exactly what you are asking, but Palmetto State, Bravo Company, and Anderson have all gotten money from me for stripped uppers.
