Bulk packaging for reloads ?

Folks, do you use some form of packaging when (if) you reload in bulk ?

I am about to start a run of 2500 rounds of 7.62x51 and 5000 rounds of 5.56x45 to replace all the mil surp I have shot over the last 3 years. All will wind up stored in metal ammo cans (in good condition) but I wondered if anyone had found a good replacement for those cardboard boxes that the mil surp ammo was in, after you pulled it out of the vinyl battle pack.

Midway sells polystyrene holders with cardboard sleeves. Seems spendy for 'bulk'. Don't (yet) know how well they would fit in a ammo can.

The alternative is just to stack them loose in a .30 cal can, I guess. I can get about 250 rounds of 7.62 in a .30 cal can that way.

Yep. Loose in GI ammo cans. No better storage.

every time I'm at the range, I check the brass bucket for any calibers that I load for and the trash can for ammo. boxes that I can recycle.

this sick addiction has lowered me to the status of "dumpster diver"

Vacuum sealer. Then into the ammo cans. Just in case I have to bury some soon...

I use a [new] gallon paint can for my favorite .45 Colt load; it holds hundreds of rounds, it has a little handle for when I go to the range, and it looks innocent enough on the shelf with the turpentine, etc.

I use MTM plastic boxes for my .38's, .357's, and 9mm's. I haven't found a load that I like good enough to crank out thousands of any of them (but I have loads where I'll do a hundred or two)

Surplus GI .30 and .50 caliber ammo cans are probably better.

Zip-Lock freezer bags with 100 rounds in each bag.
In steel GI ammo cans.
