I work for a company that make food packaging and I get the bags made from setting up the order on the machine. These are super duty zip lock bags that are as close to puncture proof as I have seen. They just throw them away so why not.
My second favorite method is pretzel jars. They work well and are pretty much air tight. They are tough as nails for a plastic jar.
There is 3000 bullets in this one. I like them because I can get my hand in them easily and pull out a hand full of bullets.

I also pick the empty boxes out of the trash cans at the ranges and take them hole. I really like the 100 double packs. Double trays stacked in the box.

One thing I won't do is vacuum pack them, I tried that once and my bags kept re-inflating a little. Then it dawned on me that the vacuum is sucking the air out of the loaded ammo and that will change the way the powder burns to some extent so I quit using that method.
I only have about 6 MTM boxes, and only use them to go to the range. I just refill them when I get home from one of my pretzel jars.
When I grew up I had to make due with what I had. I guess old habits die hard.
I think you should promote those pretzel jugs as ammo jugs! Your company will sell a ton of em!

Umm...no.

Oxygen/air is not required to get powder to burn.

The riser is quartersawn oak and is rock solid. I put a tray of bullets behind the press , right beside the seating die.
Oh yeah.
With that routed/bull nose edge, I was guessing Oak stair treads for the box
It seems I was wrong...again :uhoh:
:D

For shotgun I like the MTM cases with stack-able trays, handy when shooting trap and skeet. Easy way to bring the empties home. For long term "hoarding", duplicating the factory method saves space, easier to stack and handle. Cardboard boxes from U-Line.

I use the MEC 20Ga box stuffer to put my .223 into 20GA boxes. I pack them the same way, bullet to rim like you used to be able to get 50rd boxes of .22s

I have a nice big router table that make that kind of work effortless. You just keep all fingers retracted. I have about 200 board feet of clear Adirondack oak under my work bench to play with.

Your just entirely to organized.

Pack them ? I have not had that problem. I shoot them up too fast. My issue is keeping up with my shooting.

I have the little blue plastic boxes for 9mm and I have enough for about 900 rounds. It’s just been the past 6 weeks that I have been caught up and not shot them up. No range is open and I can’t shoot at home so I’m done until whenever.
Rifle I have plastic boxes for a few hundred 223 and plastic boxes for 50 or so of the various other hunting rounds I load for.

A local store use to sell a 3 pack of military style ammo can (30 + 50 + fat 50) for around $50. I bought a dozen on clearance for $30-35 over time. Pretty sure it's made in china but I can't find any difference compared to mil spec. Seals work and solid construction. I put my reloads in a ziploc baggie and in the ammo can for storage. Range ammo I put in plastic storage boxes from Midway. Bulk range ammo like .223 I just leave loose in fat 50 ammo can. I thought about nicely packaging in boxes but again not most efficient use of space in a sealed ammo can. premium hunting ammo I do stack and vacuum seal.

Harbor freight ammo cans work just fine for me.
