I travel the road alot, and I have noticed lately what appears to be a new, but weird, trend: People placing "bullet hole" stickers and decals on their vehicles!

 :what:

What's up with this?

Has anyone else noticed this new "bullet hole" trend as well?

:scrutiny: :what: :scrutiny:

I found this photo of what I am talking about:

I thought they were cool when they first showed up, but as always the newness wears off real quickly and now they are just another annoying attempt to make uninteresting cars look annoyingly interesting which I personally find rather annoying.

PS: I think this is the first time I managed to use the word annoying 3 times in 1 sentence. :p

Saw them the other day on a new H2.

Gangsta, hood crap. If anyone really shot at any of these fools, they'd cry all the way home.

Things like these decals don't usually get my blood up, but my first impulse every time I see one of those bloody things is to go up to the vehicle's owner and offer to give them some real ones, in .38, .45 and .30 caliber.

Truly odd what some people think are "cool"...

David, where you been, man? they have been around for a while now. Perhaps they are just now making it into your region. Where are you at, your proffile shows you as incognito.

I wouldn't put them on my car. I did have some the "bullet holes in glass" on the front of a microwave oven for while. And putting them on the side of a computer seems like a natural....

Don't need fakes

Once, on a slow day, I counted 119 patched bullet holes on 1 side of a helicopter I was to fly. Gave up before counting the right side. Don't see the need for fakes.

be a sport an provide em with some real ones! thatl give em something to yack about over thanksgiving dinner

People who do that are usually wannabes who aren't fortunate enough to live in a city or neighborhood where real bullet holes are commonly found in vehicles.

Oh come on guys. They aren't a serious statement and they've been around so long no one thinks they're real. In the right context, it's humorous.
