Please tell me how to adjust bullet sitting depth for my chamber "personaly", simply step by step correctly!?
(for example: 1 step...., 2 step....., 3....., and so on )
Thank's .

SEATING depth is adjusted via the die. Which brand and caliber do you have? The instructions should be pretty clear. If you don't have any, say so, and we'll provide you a link.

Or, are you referrring to the overall length (OAL) of the cartridge, which is controlled by varying the seating depth?

We need more info to help you.

But 2 in 1 die.

Question.
Proper settings seating die : ...., -.003, -.002, -.001 ...+.001, +.002, +003, .... inches, relative "rifle (handgun) seating depth"?

HUH?

Don't crimp when seating. Crimp as a separate step.
But 2 in 1 die.
If you're going to crimp in two steps, you just get a second die for crimping.

Question.

Oooooh kay. I have no idea what that means. Measurements in thousandths, but relative to what?

I think he's trying to ask a question about something he doesn't understand. I believe he's trying to find out how to know where to seat a bullet optimally in his rifle, ie. how far off the lands. For that, you need to get something like this to measure your chamber. I have no experience with this so have no input other than to have some idea of what you may be talking about. Hope this helps and that someone else can chime in with experience.

I'm sorry for my brainstorm :) ))

In step 10, there is no error?

Ahh, ok, so a bottleneck rifle cartridge, using a dummy cartridge to determine the overall length to set the bullet against the rifling, and then backing off 0.015" to 0.030"

That sounds like a fine place to start, yes.

If stay set the bullet against the rifling , what happens? (OAL unchanged before and after extraction)

If you set the bullet against the rifling? Hard to say exactly. Might produce very good accuracy, or you might find it is better with 0.02" or so backed off. 0.02" off the lands seems like the standard many guys use to start out and then they tweak it in and out until they find the sweetest spot.
