I have a Snail Systems FRUGAL MODEL GF. If I had it to do over, I would buy the TABLE TOP MODEL GT has an easy access trap door to facilitate cleaning.

Actually....They don't mind. And...it isn't a full volume report....but rather a very muffled report. It is a baffled tube with sand and synthetic burlap in it. It is quite muted. Kind of a dull thump.

All my neighbors are shooters so it is a non issue. I test center fire long guns out back of the house on occasion. Not a big deal. There is a reason I live in the county on acreage.

Hi. There are bullet traps and bullet traps. Not all of 'em are rated for all cartridges. Some aren't rated for anything but air rifles either. We had a .22 trap in the shop I worked in, long ago. Being in a major city wasn't conducive for anything else.

I have two air-rifle / .22RF traps in the shop.
One I made, and one a commercial one a guy gave me.

Mostly limited to function testing & preliminary sighting in .22 scopes with Aguila CB caps.
Even .22 LR High-Speed gets real loud in the basement!
