Bulletproof pants.

A while ago bulletproof store and/or amendment 2 was supposed to release some iia pants. Does anyone know if they were ever released and if so a good place to pick them up used? I could use them for shooting steel. Has anything similar ever been released by any other company?

...you mean this is the end of all those videos of people shooting them selves in the leg?....im....actually sorta disappointed.

Thats literally what thought about when i read the title, id never heard about these. Thats actually a good idea, the first time i got to shoot at steel targets the owner didnt set them up right, and we all got spattered with projectile bits. I ended up with a pretty good size ding on my shin, and forearm.

Kevlar and/or spectra fiber do not sounds like the most comfortable things to make support garments from--or did you mean "trousers"? (Or, even more likely, "chaps.")

I've been on the 25 yard line doing pistol silhouette, and had neighboring positions occupied by those who believed that .41mag was the "only" choice for silhouette. Denim was usually enough for the splatter, although there were days when I wanted 1000 denier cordura nylon. But, shooting in Texas does not much suggest wearing nylon unless really needed.
