I saw a bumper sticker yesterday that read: "If You Are Close Enough To Read This Our Snipers Can Drop You, Have A Nice Day!". This was military related as some of the other stickers on this vehicle. But, doesn't this send a negetive message to the public about gun ownership in general?

Only a scared little punk would put a bumper sticker like that on their car.
I can't imagine that a qualified military sniper would need to.
And yes, it is a negative statement about gun owners.

In my humble opinion.

Agreed!

Further, some other stickers could pose a problem if one were actually involved in an armed confrontation. e.g.: Prosecutor: "Mister Bob, did you not have a bumper sticker on your truck stating'Keep honking, I'm reloading'?" That would make me look real good in court!!

However, I do like"Ted Kennedy's car has killed more people than my guns"!! Or "Guns cause crime like forks cause Rosie O'Donnell to be fat!"

Stay safe.

EVERYTHING I NEED TO KNOW I LEARNED IN SNIPER SCHOOL

Speaking of bumper stickers, after my "best RKBA design contest," the outfit LifeLibertyEtc.com is going to make these for car stickers and also t-shirt.
