Bunker Hill Safes Help

Does anyone have one? I know they are not high quality safes (In fact, I think they would really be more of a thick skinned RSC.), but I was given one. Since I do not have another safe or money to purchase one right now...

Anyway, I cannot find a website for the company. I need to know how to alter the combination to a more complex number set. Right now it is two digits and the star key. Can anyone help me out here or point to a source of help.

Well XD it looks like they are imported by Harbor Freight. it appears to be a very inexpensive Chinese import. Here's a link to their web site:

They are a Harbor Freight import from China.

If you open the door all the way, look for a small red button near one of the hinges. Push and hold that button, while entering a new combination. Make sure you check it a few times with the door open before you close and lock the safe.

Thanks for the replies. I will try that button. I have noticed it ans I figured that it somehow triggered the new combination, but I was afraid to try it without some extra info.

HEED THE WARNING! Keep the door open until your are 101% sure the combo is changed, correctly changed, and the numbers are absolutely in your memory. Otherwise some other locksmith gets to buy a new toy.

I have a Bunker Hill safe (floor model) keys won't work???

I bought a safe from a liquidator. Tried keys to make sure they worked and they both did when I bought it. I made the unseeable mistake of closing safe without batteries inside the control box (they needed replacing). I did so thinking that I have the keys.....well keys do not work now! I can not open the darn thing. Jeffry, I have the instructions inside on how to change the code. Can someone help? [email protected]
