Anyone planning on being buried with any of their guns? I am thinking of leaving instructions to stick my Smith Model 19 and some ammo in with my coffin. In the resurrection there will be plenty of sumbitches who'll need to be shot.

No, I'm leaving all my guns to my friends.
There are too many "sumbitches" that need to be shot right now. :)

I plan to be burried with at least one, and some extra ammo, just in case things dont go like they should after im gone and i gotta come back and whup ass. I dont plan on being one of those walk slowly toward you moaning zombies.

uuuuuuuUUUUUUUUGGGGHHHHHHHH  BLAM!BLAM :what: UUUggghhhhhh. :D :scrutiny:

I'm not sure how the ammo would hold up to the cryogenic temperatures in the liquid nitrogen vat I'm slated to be "buried" in. But I'll probably designate some of my guns for my personal effect locker, as they'll be collector's items by the time I'm thawed. :neener:

I want to be cremated along with my Davis .380 just to be sure no one is left with that worthless piece of crap.

I know a WWII vet who was buried with a Garand and a bandolier of ammo.

Now that sir, was one of the funniest things I've heard in a long time. :D

We were just talking about this last night at the range. We were saying how we'd all like to "Be like Pete Godek" a local guy and life long shooter who lived till like 97 IIRC and shot his last match 2 weeks before he died. We were wondering if maybe he was buried with his.

I haven't thought about it yet cause I ain't ready to be buried!

We buried my old man with a 5 Iron and a box of Titleists though...

;)

I gues the proper saying would be, "NOT from my cold, dead hands," then.

I'm taking my machineguns with me. I had to sell my left nut to pay for the rising cost, taxes, and dealing with the transfer hassles.

I'll leave all my other weapons for my brother and my cat. :neener:

Plus if the devil comes I can shoot at him!

Oh, really? Care to let us know where you plan to be buried? You, know, so we can pay our respects. :D

ill probably be buried with 1000 rounds of vintage 54R and my 91/30. its served me well since the day i bought it, it'll serve me well in the afterlife too.

Hmmm... Maybe a good idea to have a half dozen ARs, mags, and ammo in a flase bottom of the ol' coffin. And only the kids know what's in there. Then when it's time for the grandkids to take back their freedom, they'll know where to find the tools. ;)

(Get that one Big Bro. - come dig me up, lol!) :uhoh:

Buried with a firearm? Why? I'll have no use for it.

Better to sell it or will it.

I'm always greateful for my buddy who left me his .17 wildcat. His son's didn't want it, so he left it to me. It got me into reloading, which is a gift in its own right. And I remember him fondly every time I shoot it. ]

Mine will go where they will be used & enjoyed.

Hey Mr. Bellmore,

I've heard about cryo treated barrels...think you might have room in there?

Just make sure you pass them to my son or grandson when you get thawed.

Nope. Mine will go to the living who may have some use for them.

I only hope that there will be some "worthies" when the time comes.

One of my reasons for buying any more guns than I absolutely need is so that there will be more guns in private hands for posterity.

That's not a bad idea. What better place to cache "illegal" weapons than with a dead body - even if the gun police find out, what're they going to do, imprison a corpse?

I couldn't take any guns and ammo with me if I wanted to.

The ammo will just burst in the fires of Hell. ;)
