Bushmaster Front Sight Post

I have an XM15 A2. Lately, I've been thinking about someday swapping the upper out for an A3. Now, I can perform the procedure with no problem (I'd probably add a FF tube at that point). But I was wondering, is the front sight post on the Bushmaster A3 barrel any different than the one on the A2? I know they're different on the Colt, but I have heard conflicting reports about whether or not they're different on the Bushie. If so, I'll just save the A3 conversion for when I build my next AR.

Basically, it looks weird, but it should still sight-in okay. Since this is an A3, I assume you won't be using the carry handle much, anyway.
