Hey all, I'm in the market for a nice buttstock shell holder; does anyone have any experience or recommendations for good products - and maybe links to them?

I see a few decent ones on Amazon and at Bass Pro Shops for cheap, but I imagine that these won't weather much use and abuse. I don't do hunting here in Southern Florida, so my uses for it are a little more tactical and for 'SHTF' scenarios (I know such talk isn't condoned on THR, but keep in mind that hurricanes here are a frequent occurrence, and it's common for looting and lawlessness to ensue during times when there is no power, running water, or law enforcement).

With that said, I've seen most shell holders hold 9 rounds on one side. I have a bolt action Mauser 98, and my main desire for one is to be able to keep it strapped to the rifle to always have a spare loading of ammo should I ever be forced into a situation where I must abandon my traditional stockpiles at home, or lose my ammunition pouches on-person. As such I'd prefer an even number like 10, for two full reloads.

I think it'd be nice to have the shell holder double-sided; are such things made? I only ever see ones that hold shells on the right side, but being able to carry 20 rounds strapped to the buttstock would really be nice. I don't see why they shouldn't make them that way anyway, since (for right handers), the left side of the buttstock should have the most clearance.

I have an Eagle Industries stock pack that has a pocket on the right side. The left side is cheek pad. In the pocket are 10 elastic loops, and the pocket can accommodate two of those ten-round plastic holder that GMM .308 comes in, which is what I drop in there.
