I'm looking at picking up a used .357 smith and wesson at the next gun show. I need a bit of help in what to look for: red flags/common issues/things to for/etc. I'm looking at the following models in particular (but feel free to suggest another): pre-lock 586/686, 19, 66, 27/28.
I'm mainly looking at used because of all of the hate spewed forth due to the locks and mim parts. Also - what would be a fair price for these models in nice condition?
