What's Your Favorite S&W .357 Revolver?

I prefer blue steel & wood.
My favorites would be a 581 &/or a 13.

I have neither, but would like both.

Don't have any S&W 357s right now.
Had a 66-2 which I traded for a 1911, & had a 65-2.

My favorite is my 1939 Registered Magnum. This was the 1939 Camp Perry prize gun and the winner speced it out. I shot the group single action at 15 yrds, with 50 shots of hot 2400 reloads. The winner of Camp Perry knew what he was doing!

Well, the choice is easy because I have only owned one. My Ruger GP100 4" is perhaps not as elegant as a Smith but it works and is built like a tank.

Well . . . "If Looks Could Kill" . . . (and in this case it could of course), it is hard to pass on the S&W "Cadillac," the Model 27. In this case, a Model 27-2 from around 1970. Pinned and recessed, checkered top strap . . . gorgeous. 3 1/2" barrel.

I really don't know. Likely between a Model 19, 27 and a Pre 27. Once the cold sets in and I move to the indoor range the handguns will be seeing some use. :)

Mines an unpinned and non-recessed 19-5, but it's all mine!

I like the L-Frames

Never could decide what I liked better 4" or 6"....so I had Andy Horvath cut mine to 5"

installed a weygand interchangeable front sight base, and converted it to 7 shot.

My favorite S&W 357 Magnum is the one I am shooting at the moment.:)

I have K and L frames but I need to get a Model 27.

My first is a 6" Model 19, so, that probably really tops the list.

Last weekend, I found a nice 6" 27-2 to round out my collection. Now I get to see how the N frame measures up to the K and L frames. :)

My 27-2! While not as fancy as my Python, it'll shoot all day with it!

My favorite is my father's 649-3.

From all the attention it's drawn for 25 years of strangers asking, "What model is that Smith .357?" you'd think this gun would be my favorite...

But it's just a .22. A 17-6.
