I have decided on the following features rock river arms lower receiver 2 stage trigger, 6 position stock, rock river arms carbine a4 upper w/ 16" lined barrel I plan on using two flip up sights with an eotech 512. The rear sight will be an ARMS 40 variant. I want to have an absolute co-witness. I have three questions that someone could help me with.

1-What front sight should I look at, I am looking for reliablity and compatibility with the arms 40, also I like the thinner type sight post which i prefer for longer range ?

2-The EO Tech optic will be mounted on the upper receiver, however i might have to adjust it to my likings. I want a free floating handguard that could accomadate an eo tech. What railed handguard should I look at. I am considering buying the handguard seperatly.

3-With regard to the ARMS 40 should I get the lowprofile(40L i think), would the other flip up sights obstruct my sight picture.

Any advice or experience with these products would be greatly appreciated.

Are you looking for a flip front/gas block or a rail-attached flip front? If it is the former, I think your choices are PRI and YHM.

Pretty much any railed handguard with the rail at the level of the upper receiver (most of them) should work. You might look at some of the rails that have an uninterupted top rail though (Troy, Samson, ARMS, Daniel Defense...probably others I can't think of right now). That way if you want to mount the Eotech across the barrel nut area, you won't have a problem.

I would definitely go with the #40L if you are going ARMS. Use blue loctite on the locknut when you install it.
