Buying Brass in Florida

Jell-Dog,
They sell factory 357Mag ammo??????
:evil::neener:

Yeah, I don't usually add the 357 Mag to the mix as it's a low volume caliber for me. But that may change, as I just brought home a Desert Eagle in 357 Mag. So, off to the bench I go, hi-ho, hi-ho.
Now, just need to find more 2400.

And, another caliber you DON'T WANT TO HAVE TO BUY! -- 45 Colt. I haven't seen any for less than $40/50 around here, if you can find them. I haven't loaded any yet, but have the dies, components, etc.

Oh, BTW, I will get back to the 380 loads and testing soon. Been working on a large pile of 223 case prep.

MM,
I shoot my pistol brass till it splits/loose primer pockets/creased sidewalls.
Or if it feels to "easy" to expand which could lead to poor bullet neck tension.
Sounds like you have a good grip on how to move forward with your reloading!

mstreddy,
Sounds like fun on the range with your 223 is on the schedule!!

I'm prepping 380auto and 9mm brass, I have also finished a spreadsheet for the bullets/powder/COL in each I would like to test.
Inspection of brass and prep is done.
Heck, the spreadsheet took longer to workup than I believe actually loading the test cartridgs will take:what: (now that brass is prepared!!)
Especially looking forward to BE-86 + 9mm + 124gr bullets:D
JD

Good luck on finding adequate (REASONABLEY PRICED) supplies of .22 shells:D

I hope to eventually learn more about .22 ammo. At the gun show I went to in central Florida last week, they had Federal "Target Grade Performance .22 Long Rifle" ammo for $27 for 325 rounds. I bought one box. Thinking back on it, I should have gotten more.

I've now got two .22 handguns, a S&W Model 41 (which I just bought back from a relative I sold it to), and a newly purchased High Standard target pistol that I think is from the mid 1970's.
