buying guns for others

No, sir - an FFL is an animal of a completely different color - by Federal law, he's required to fill out a form 4473. Like I said - have no problem with a gun owner being sure that I'm legit - what I won't do is let him copy down any personal information that could cause me problems if he lost/misplaced it, or turned out to be less than honest himself.
Each of us has to decide what is acceptable to us. I understand that, and will respect it. Doesn't mean I have to accept it.
And for the record, I've been collecting guns for over 35 years - don't have all that I've bought over the years thanks to life and a divorce - but I'm workin' on 'em, and have purchased 'em from all over the country, including this board.

I completely agree with you, TexasRedneck!

Don't forget a collector

Also a FFL and required to collect information,
you can also look at it as a Kinda KYA, if the cops comeback to you on a FA, you can show them where you got the FA from.
