Considering a trip to the Boundary Waters next year and was not having luck yet finding specifics on whether a handgun for self-defense is permitted in the BWCA. Minnesota does recognize my state's concealed carry permit. Information please?
There are no special restrictions in the BWCA. Open, or concealed carry is OK as is carrying a long gun. Hunting, and target shooting are permitted in accordance with state laws.
