I like to surf the web while drinking my morning coffee and some times I find something interesting. Since it is two years old, some of you may have already seen these. I have seen the data before in spreadsheet form, but it was nice to just listen while drinking my brew.
What I found interesting is without a bunch of hype, he goes into myths, and stats, etc and presents a fair argument using real world data.
I found the "Best handgun caliber - a real world study" quite enlightening, and I am sure most of you are aware that based on stats (which we all know can lie), short of the mouse guns .22, .25 and .32, there is no statistical difference in incapacitation and stopping power when using any standard defensive caliber. Also, he makes an argument that a .410 handgun could possibly be the best overall defensive round to carry - hmmmmm, interesting - You be the "Judge" (pun intended).
