C&R ? About Citizenship Form

OK I just got my Form 7CR(5310.16) from the ATF Today(4 pages front and back,2 for them and 2 for me) and I have a question that I cant seem to find a definite answer. Its about the citizenship verification part. I didnt get one in my packet and Ive heard two different things. One is I just print it off a website http://www.atf.gov/forms/pdfs/f533020.pdf and send it in and the second thing Ive heard is that know it is intergrated into the C&R application(7CR 5310.16). Does anyone have a definte answer on this? There is a spot on the C&R application asking about citizenship but I didnt know if mroe is needed. Thanks for the help!

I applied for the C&R FFL earlier this year. I completed only the application form, noted that I was born outside the US, and send it to the BATF. They send me a letter asking for my naturalization #. I send them a copy of my passport and naturalization certificat. FFL arrived a few weeks later.

First off, the first copy is for the ATF and the second copy is for your local high ranking law enforcement officer. Second, are you a citizen? If not, what are you? If your a citizen then shangri la you have no problems,

Yes you need that form along with you application. You are certifying that you are a citezen. Fill it out following the directions print then sign.

First I am a citizen of the US. Second supposodly the ATF revised the form including the citizenship part. It has a section for thos who arent citzens to fill out. The form I received is a revised May 2005 version. Unless someone knows for fact that the citizenship part is included in this version form I have Ill print out the seperate form. Thanks!

I just recieved my C&R FFL. I filled it in less than 2 months ago. What part are you hung up on? If it doesn't apply to you then just put in N/A, not applicable. I think you may be over analysing this, I personally had no problems.

I never found a "for sure" answer to that question.....so I filled it out and included it anyways. No problems, my license came riky-tic.

Im not over analizing anything. I know for fact that a couple of years ago you had to fill out the basic C&R application(7CR 5310.16) along with a totally seperate proof of citizenship form(5330.20). I heard somehwere though that here recently they incoparated the citizenship form into the basic C&R application. thus creatinga single form to cover it all. Since I never saw the old C&R form I cant compare. The one I have which is a revised May 2005 version has a citizenship section on it but for all I know the old version did as well. I was just trying to help prevent any type of delay. Im just going to send in the seperate citizenship form to be on the safe side since no one knows and I dont feel like calling the ATF. Thanks for the help though!

It's been incorporated into the main form, you do not have to fill it out separately anymore.

I just recieved my C&R FFL. I filled it in less than 2 months ago.

I sent mine in 2 months ago, and still haven't seen it. And I want my CZ52 before the price goes up again!
