Woohoo! I finally went and sent in my application last Monday, the 8th. I just checked my account finding a $30 withdrawl by ATF on Friday the 12th! That was quick. How long til I have my actual license in my hands? Educated guesses?

Ya, I've already bookmarked all the big distributors and done my window shopping. Already got a couple of orphans picked out for adoption!

It took awhile for mine, almost 2 months. I ended up emailing very politely asking what the current status was, and the reply was that the license had just been sent the previous day and would arrive shortly.
The discounts are nice, and the fact that a package arrives at your door with a firearm that has some history is very cool.

I got mine last year and it was like 3 months. So far I have only used it for a 91/30. Don't forget you can send it to Midway and Brownells to get a dealer discount.
Got mine in twenty days. Unfortunately it came to the house right when we were in the middle of our 7000 American Road Trip. Holy crapoly, the stuff that I saw along the way that would have looked soooooo purdy in my collection......
Wow, three months... Seems like once you're approved and they take your money, it should happen fairly quickly. But then again, it's the Feds... We work for them...
