C&R Questions

I am filling out my paperwork for my C&R License, and I had a few questions.

1. On question 9, where it asks for Position and SS#, what do they mean by postion? Is this for employees at a gun store, or are they wanting your job title (I do not work in the firearms industry)?

Same question for the signature part on section 15.


2. How do you find out who your chief LEO is? I would assume it is the Sheriff, but you know what they say about assume, right?

3. Section 10, this only needs to be filled out if you are an alien, but for those of us that aren't, should you put N/A, or leave it blank?

I have run a search, and am currently looking through threads, but if anyone knows the answers, please help me out.

In this thread, Armoredman mentions "don't forget the citizenship form as well" or they won't process it. What in the heck is this? I did not see that mentioned as a requirement.

Your position is "Collector"

number 10 takes the place of the "certificate of compliance" (citizenship form) that used to be a seperate form.

If you live outside the city limits your chief LEO should be the Sheriff, inside the city would be the Police Chief.
