The check for my renewal cleared 17APR, it seemed I'd sent it in with plenty of time before it would expire on 1JUN. Since it hasn't arrived (been busy, not needing to use it) I figured I better call about it. Seems its still being "processed" :(

Good thing I'm not hot to buy a C&R item at the moment. If you are a more active C&R I'd suggest sending it in the day you receive the renewal form.

Almost two months seems a little long.

Seems a lot long to me seeing how while I didn't drop everything to fill out the renewal, I did send it in within ~10 days of it arriving. Looks like it took ~11 days for the US Mail to deliver and BATFE to cash the check

That's too bad. No reason for it to take that long, if there is nothing questionable on your record. Sounds like the Illinois process to renew a FOID card lol (legislated to 30 days but I guess laws don't matter to the gov't).

Well, if your current license has expired and your renewal has not yet been processed, I guess that means you can no longer worry about your bound book...and you can start a new one.

I let mine lapse because C&R offerings have been less enticing overall lately (for me).

I may get one again when I'm ready to let some things go. Whenever that is.

Arrived today 14AUG2014. This is 10 weeks past the expiration despite my renewal check being cashed 6 weeks before the expiration date!

Good thing I wasn't hot to buy or sell anything with it.

Wow, that was a long time to get the C&R renewed!

I had sent my app & check in on Friday 8/1 and payment was debited from my account on 8/6. My 03 came in this past Thursday - 8/14. Not to worry you or anything, but you may want to look into why it took 10 weeks - with identity theft running rampant and all... :uhoh:
