Purchased a C93 rifle. I checked out the bolt gap spacing with a feeler gauge before I purchased it. Also dismantled partially and checked for grind marks and machining marks. Nothing out of the ordinary, didn't have any signs of "drunk monkey" on it so, I bought it. I took it to the range twice and shot a few hundred XM180 out of it and it's dead on. Can easily stack bullets at 100yds.. it's above par for me with that distance cause I can't see that well anymore. Also, couldn't believe it was that accurate. No fail to fires or jams either. Have nothing to say but good things. It might as well have been a HK93 as far as I am concerned.

So was thinking. It's worth putting some quality optics on it, I'd like to put standard scope on it (maybe 3x9 or 1.5x6ish or so) and see how well it does as the 200, 300 and 400 yard ranges.

Here's the deal... I used to have a STANAG claw mount on my PTR-91 and it was too heavy and high for my liking. It functioned 100% but It was like a tank stacked on top of a tank (I sold it on amazon and don't regret).

Does anyone have experience with rgsales HK93 scope mount? I looked at the RG sales it indicates to be of high quality but... the picture they have on their website is the same scope mount on amazon for half the price. Don't want to spend money on junk but also think that $179-ish for a scope mount from DSA (Brugger & Thomet) is a bit rich for me. Especially since the gun only cost $500. Also considered welding the tactical rail on top the receiver as I have a brother who can TIG weld it professionally but... again a steel picatinny rail still runs like $90 online... So I'm at a loss. How do I get a decent optic on the gun without spending over $100 just to mount it?? I'd also like to do the same with my PTR-91 although for this rifle, I'm feeling the Brugger & Thomet scope mount much more just cause that thing is basically an auto-sniper waiting to be released from it's heavy trigger pull, perhaps theirs an advantage to the B&T on that one Any ideas?

Sorry for the paragraphs!
