CA handgun Laws H&K P30L

Hi guys, Got a cousin who is coming in from Florida wants to know if he can legally transfer a HK P30L to me with 10 round mags. the gun is not on the Handgun approved list for CA DOJ, Please let me know if there is anyway to legally do this. the gun was purchased In Florida and has all documentation of sale.

This is my dream gun so anything short of illegal tactics I'm game for.

Have him take it to an FFL and ask?

I know it cannot go from him to you legally just like that.

He can bring it with him, but he cannot transfer it to you in it's current form....and it would have to go through a FFL as it would be an inter-state transfer

Check on the link provided for good information about the list and exemptions. Look into having it converted to meet the requirements of the Single Shot Exemption. There is an added cost involved...but if it is your dream gun?

Your cousin would have to be a California resident to sell it to you. A parent or grandparent can transfer it interstate and bypass the roster.
