New CA law effects on handgun pricing?

How do you think the new CA gun law requiring a loaded chamber indicator and "Mag disconnect" feature will affect the pricing of current "nonconforming" handguns within CA?

I've been wanting to get a CZ P-01, but I don't know if CZ will alter the designs to be legal under this new law.

Prices will rise, of course.

One of the primary purposes of such legislation is to increase the cost of firearms in the hope of reducing demand. Leftist extremists abhor the very idea of free markets, but rely on free market psychology to achieve their socialist ends.

If that pistol is on the list the maker just has to keep it on the list until 2006, and keep it there. It won't require the frivolous features if its on the list prior to 2006.

The prices may go up because all the sheeple who found out about this gun banning attempt of a law will go out and start to buy them just like they did before all the other gun banning attempts.

The price will go up on every handgun once they have to have those implementations.

The goal, mind you, is to price the average person out of buying firearms, so FFLs in the state go under. the only ones left from there will be the large chain sporting goods type stores who don't sell handguns and "PC" firearms-bolt action .22s, shotguns, etc

Untill, of course, they rename the .22 a "easily concealable sniper weapon" and shotguns "short range multiple child killing weapon"
