Three fifty seven magnum, baby. Guaranteed, proven one-shot man-stopper.

Let's look at the possibilities:
1) .45acp. Mainly for old guys and others trying to make up for something
2) 10mm. More of the same but for young trendy guys
3) 9mm. Eurofag
4) 40 S&W. "Short and Wimpy" doesnt describe just the round
5) 9 Mak. Commie wannabe
6) 32 H&R Magnum. Obscurist freak
7) .38 Spc. No guts, no glory
8) .44mag. Dirty Harry wannabe

Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha

Great fun.
357 in a 360 S&W---11 oz, but only five rounds, gotta carry a speedloader :)
HK P7 PSP, slightly less concealable but the best pistol ever designed (flame suit on)
Para C6, C7, or Warthog...45acp, how many rounds do you want?

230 gr hydrashocks in a Glock 30, all day everyday, except the days that I wear a G21.

.40 S&W

Glock 27. Carries like a '9' but, with a smokin' 135 grainer, can approach 500 fpe out of its little 3.5" barrel.

40 S&W Sig Pro. Why didn't the 40 S&W make your list?

Ah, I figured it out. It's the youngest caliber on the list, and the only one that's younger than I am. It's not even old enough to own a handgun that shoots it yet! :D

VOLUME vs POWER

Primary is 9mm in SA XD9 series but when power over volume is required :uhoh: the old 357 mag in S&W model 19-7.

Living in sunny Florida, my primary carry is .32 cal in my P-32

I own a S&W 4516, and carry it occasionally, but at 36 oz. empty, it's like lugging around a bowling ball on your hip.

I'm considering an inexpensive 9mm to replace the Kel-Tec. Taurus PT-111 or something similar. Weight of the 111 is 18.4 oz empty.

Glocks are nice, but out of my price range.

I'm surprised the 380 doesn't have a higher showing. Maybe amongst this group it isn't favored, much.

Primary is a S&W 659 with 115 +P+ loads.

I have two.

.357 mag and .45 acp.
