Ah, I figured it out. It's the youngest caliber on the list, and the only one that's younger than I am. It's not even old enough to own a handgun that shoots it yet!

VOLUME vs POWER

Primary is 9mm in SA XD9 series but when power over volume is required the old 357 mag in S&W model 19-7.

Living in sunny Florida, my primary carry is .32 cal in my P-32

I own a S&W 4516, and carry it occasionally, but at 36 oz. empty, it's like lugging around a bowling ball on your hip.

I'm considering an inexpensive 9mm to replace the Kel-Tec. Taurus PT-111 or something similar. Weight of the 111 is 18.4 oz empty.

Glocks are nice, but out of my price range.
