Forgive me if this is already-trodden ground...
I was told today that you can no longer buy just a frame and slide for a pistol in the "great" state of California. Does anyone know if this is in fact true?
I was under the impression that one could buy a frame and slide combo that were the underlying components of an already approved handgun in CA. For example, Les Baer's Premier II has been approved in CA. They also sell the frame and slide separately. Can this be purchased by a CA resident?
TIA,
HRB
