What is with California?
Sorry to say, 2 cops were shot and killed. Back up police shot and killed the shooter. Done deal.
After the shootings they then went on to lock down schools, evacuate students, SEARCH neighborhood homes including garages and closets, and send out helicopters and planes to surveil the area.
The report goes on to say that semi-auto gunfire was heard.
C'mon. You have a handful of cops shooting, and someone can tell it's semi-auto fire?
I know that every shooting doesn't need to be reported here, but I am deeply bothered by the tactics used here.
Just because something happens around the block, it shouldn't give police the right to search my home.
If this is the case, we're losing more than just our second amendment rights here. It's beginning to look more like Nazi Germany.
The grandstanding, and over reaction is just mind boggling.
