Calling all TN Mafia members...

The Bill Goodman gun show is this weekend (Nov. 8/9) at the fairgrounds. I'm thinking this makes for a good excuse to get together Saturday morning, buy ammo, and use it up on Saturday afternoon at the new range on Old Hobson Pike.

So, are there any takers? Even if you can only make it to the show or the range, at least make a showing.

I spoke to Oleg this afternoon and he said he could make it to the show Sat. a.m., but won't be available for the range due to appointments.

Intune, I'm dying to see what you've done to Da Svede. (Come to think of it, if Addison wants to come with you, we can plan to go out to Cheatham county.)

Chris, Julie, ya'll ain't been to the range with us in a few months. I'm beginning to think you don't like us anymore. (Julie, I promise I'll keep my AK on your right side so you won't get showered with brass.)

I will try to subvert my friend to come to the range, which shouldn't be too difficult to do. Would prefer Cheathan range but can go along with the other one, too.

I will let ya know about saturday. I *can* make it if I break some verbal's saying Id be somewhere or help here and there. Its not a huge deal to me. And with all the traveling Ive done in the last few weeks might be a better idea to stay off the roads. Argh....for being single I have too many commitments

I'm planning on Sunday and bringing a couple of friends. Gunshow around 10ish then head to Cheatham County. We're planning on taking out the rabid skeet.

Does it have to be Saturday?

After conferring with Bowlcut thru PM, I think Sunday will be a better day. I'll most likely hit the show between 10 & 10:30, then head to the range afterwards. If Cheatham County range works best for others, it works for me too. One consideration, what are the hours for the range, due to hunting season?

I'm not sure about going to the show but I will go to the shoot if it is at the new range. The Saturday hours are 10am till dark. Please post what you decide to do.

Sunday is definatly better. Ive not talked to my friend about Saturday tho for my personal plans. I really need to blast some ammo tho, recoil threapy. Im needing some stress relief. I would love to try out that new range. As Id like to play with my .22 in a controled state where I have some time to sit and aim some. Also a little time with the Mosin-Nagant at longer ranges. As much as I like skeet, Im just not feeling into it right now. And I really need to detail strip that Shotty. Maybe I can do that now as Im really tense need to relax some.

That's the truth. *sigh* Head colds from you know where, work, more work, more work on top of that. It could be worse. I am employed. This is a Good Thing.

Saturday or Sunday, I have no idea if I can make either one, show or shoot. I'll do what I can. I may be comatose at home. At this point I'm trying to decide if I'll be back home laaaaaaate Friday or if I'm going to have to work Saturday in Knoxville. Bleah.

If anyone is interested in shooting IDPA, Middle Tennessee Shooters in Manchester, has opened a new range. We will be starting at 1:00 on Sunday, Nov. 9. Bring a shotgun, we always do side matches.

Jules and I are up for the gunshow on Saturday but can't do Cheatham county. We could do the range closer to us if anybody is interested.

Cheatham is just too far and too much time out of that particular day.

We would love to hook up at the show though.

I now have an appoitment to interview a guy for a school project on Sunday afternoon. That effectively eliminates me from going to the range that day. I'm thinking I'll most likely go the show on Saturday morning around 10-ish, after that is pretty open for me. Heck, I may even go back to the show on Sunday.

Phil, I'm real anxious to see the Swede, so if you make it to the show on Saturday, what are the chances you'll bring it to let me see it?
