So I love coyote hunting and would like to learn how to call them. Usually when we go out my buddy does the calling, but he's not always going to be able to come out with us anymore, which is why I was hoping to be able to acquire this skill myself. I was in a store and saw a decently priced "predator call" (P-60A Manufactured by "Faulk's") and picked her up right then and there.
So after first blowing into it, it sounds something like a duck, although it's supposed to be a jackrabbit distress call. After continually playing with it for about a week and looking at youtube videos out the whazoo I still can't seem to figure out how to make it successfully sound like anything short of a broken french horn. Anybody experience anything similar or could possibly give tips to this poor coyote hunter? Much thanks.
