Came home to a new Beretta 92FS today!

Just figured I'd share this one. I went shooting with my dad about 2 days ago, he was using his older Beretta 92FS and his duty weapon, Glock 23. I was using a Glock 23, Sig P220, Glock 30 and my Glock 17's. Just a casual day of target practice, etc. I've been debating on putting my upcoming tax return towards a Beretta 92FS and as such got some trigger time in on my dad's piece. I really like the Beretta for some reason (aside from looks).
Well, long story short, my parents were visiting with my wife and playing with their grandson, etc when I came home from work today. Out of the blue my dad gives me a bag from a nearby gunshop, inside was a brand spankin new black Beretta 92FS with 4 15rnd mags, 1 20rnd mag and a Galco combat master belt hoslter. Needless to say I was speechless! Just a brand new gun\rig, and all completely by surprise! Not even my birthday! :)
It made my day to say the least! Gotta love gun-happy family times! :D
 
Nice gun! That is what I keep loaded for my home defense gun. I got one of those 20rd mags in it and I feel about as good as a person can feel with a pistol when I have that for protection. One thing about the Beretta 92s, they are stone cold reliable and that is what I want most out of a gun that may save my life someday.

Great story and sounds like your dad is a great guy. You are blessed.:)
