Hey Brian; I can't see your picture. Try it again.

Quote Bikerdoc "had one and a bowie in the nam . still have the bowie. 40 years ago? we used to be young!!! would not trade the experience for a million dollars, would not do it again for 10 million

;) Amen Bikerdoc:What an experience it was, and no thanks for a re-play. I carried two knives also. Well; one was my M-16 Bayonet. It was on my armory supply list, so I had to check it in before I came home. I kept my camo Pot Cover to, but can't find it. :D

I too have a Camillus dated 1968. My father had it issued to him in 1969 and I carried the same knife in Iraq in 1991 as member of the Rakkasan Raiders 187th 101 Airborne Air Assault. I still have it of course.

Near as I know, the Camillus "Air Force Survival Knife" is not/was not GI issue.

I was issued one when I reported to my company by supply I was in Army Avn then this was 67 So yes they were issued Every one in my unit had one Not just pilots and crew chiefs.
