Can 45 super be shot out of a Jarvis 45 acp barrel(Glock)?

.45 Super can be shot out of that Jarvis barrel. Can also be shot out of a stock factory Glock barrel, as well as most other .45ACP barrels. Better go heavy on the recoil spring, though.

Rockstar,
Are you sure the Super can be shot out of a regular Glock? I've heard this about the HK USP 45, I never about the Glock. Do you like the Super, or is it just a novelty item?
Thanks for the reply,
Stinky

I tried both the .45 Super and .450 SMC. Neither interests me at all. Yep, you can shoot .45 Super through a factory Glock barrel, but, unlike the HK, you need to go to an aftermarket guide rod with a 24# or so spring. You'll also probably need extra-power mag springs.

Unless you're planning on hunting, I just don't see the practical application for the .45 Super. It's a lousy s.d. round.

Rockstar,
Thanks for your insight. It seems cool, I'll have to think about it.
Thanks again

Most modern stock guns can shoot .45 Supers. They
shouldn't blow up. However if you don't upgrade
some stuff, like the recoil spring (24lbs.+), you
will pound your gun into an early demise.

.45 Super should never be shot in a compact auto.

Signs of damage:
Cracked frames
Worn frame rails
Damaged recoil springs
Flatten primers
Ruptured cases :(
