I think I need to cheer myself up by getting some more veriations on my FAC, what do you think?, a semi and pump 12g's, a .308, a moderated .223 AR15

An AR-15 .233 straight-pull, a Benelli M1 Practical 12 guage,or a Remington 870 pump-action shotgun would be a nice addition-to your current collection of guns.

Speaking of the 870,If I recall correctly, you were interested in getting one on your FAC-were you not so?

Do you, perhaps, have statistics on the number of violent criminals who belong to gun clubs? I'd be willing to bet it is very low.

The law isn't that bothered about conventional violent criminals from joining-because they can't anyway. There are always strict police checks and cops themselves are members of gun clubs anyway.

The law is concerned about fantasists, violent, psychotic neo-Nazi supporters,KKK sympathisers(David Copeland),Rambo wannabes and survivalist fanatics and finally socially-inadequate individuals-who might, just might, slip the net by joining up-then they are free to acquire licenses and variations legally.

There is no criminal or mental history,in those checks-for those types of individuals-who wish to own weapons-because they have never commited a crime before-so no criminal record. In the case of Micheal Ryan and Thomas Hamilton,it was a down to Police incompetance-more so than anything else-but the authorities created stricter legislation,to prevent those psychos-who hold and held licenses and who don't draw any attention to themselves-from trying to kill or create havoc, with their weapons.

The argument for stricter controls on firearms is:"A Firearms license,is only a few bits of paper, with police checks and will do nothing to stop a person committing mass-murder,with their guns-if suddenly they become angry or mentally-ill.

Most crooks worth their dime, wouldn't commit mass-murders on civillians-but those types of loonies, that I have listed above-might do.This is why there are bans in the UK.The fear of the next Hungerford or Dunblane type of murderer, that would be commited by a license-holder is too much to bear in the UK.

Those traditional crooks look upon mass-murderers with a level of contempt, that is unbearable and would do some serious damage to them-if they got half a chance to-in the first place.

Sad gentlemen/ladies, very sad indeed. My sympathy is with you all.
U.S. citizens should look at your situation and realize that this, or worse, can happen here.

Why, yes I am?:) Have you got one you're looking to re-home??????

Still havn't got round to getting my veriation sorted yet though, might have to do this in stages as I'm not sure if I've got enough room in the safes.

How long are arm-brace for an LBR? I have used one before, but don't own one as yet.I can't really remember the lengths of the wrist-braces,that accompany them.

About 6-ish inches.

No,I have one,but I am not going to sell it.Sorry.The M870, is considered to be one of the best pump-action shotguns,available-says Peter Moore of Gun Mart and Shooting-Sports.

I have just visited East Barnet's Gunshop website and I have spotted a Remington 870 3-shot pump-action.unfortuantely it is in 20 guage and not in 12 guage. The pice is £200,because it is second-hand.

Would you consider brand-new or second-hand 870,in 12 or 20 guage?

There is also an 870 pump-action shotgun, with a five shot magazine and multi-chokes-that is brand-new-for £299.99.It has a 28" barrel length and is an Express model.I think that the 12 guage shotgun has been sold-as there is a blank-column,under the 12 bore pump-action section-I read this advertisement in my copy of the Gunmart magazine.

I looked on that website for a .357 LBR revolver, for myself-in the future.

The details are below:

I don't mind S/H, want a 12g, FAC rated model, so I can go to town with the toys:) 11 shot extended mag, folding stock, side saddle shell carrier, ghost ring sights etc....

Which model would you kit out for practical shotgun,Boom-Stick?

The first selection-which are Wingmasters or the second one, which is an Express model.
