The SR357 I bought is advertised as for bbs with no mention of pellets on the package or advertising and is smooth bore barrel. The clam shell packaging even had a empty pocket for the pellet cartridges left out.The SR357(S) in silver finish is marketed as "dual ammo" and is also smooth bore. My SNR357 is "dual ammo", smooth bore and is the same as the SR except for barrel length. The 'dual ammo" SR357S is significantly more $$ so I'm guessing the current SR357 in black are not marketed as "dual ammo" to help promote the SR357S. If they advertised it as "dual ammo" they would have to include pellet cartridges also and have more cost. Is there anything I'm missing in my assumption that the SR can shoot pellets.

I have one & yes, it shoots both pellets & bbs.

Mine came with 2 different types of ammo holding disks.

Hondo, thanks for the reply. Does your's use discs or cartridges? SR uses 6 bullet type cartridges. I think it's the CR that uses rotary discs. Sounds like you may have a different gun.I tried the pellet cartridges yesterday from my SNR in the SR and like you said, they worked. I was just confused as why they didn't have it advertised as "dual ammo " like they do with the SNR.
